Gujarat priority programmes
In Gujarat our current priority programmes are Para Athletics, Para Badminton, Para Swimming, Para Powerlifting, Para Table Tennis, Shooting Para Sport and Para Archery, with team sports growing at district level.

Track, field, jumps and throws across the widest range of classes. Gujarat's strongest discipline.
Para Badminton

Standing and wheelchair classes; a Paralympic sport since Tokyo 2020.
Para Swimming
Physical, vision & intellectual
All four strokes across S1–S14 classes in pools of Olympic standard.
Para Powerlifting
Physical impairment
Bench press, pure strength. Ten body-weight categories for men and women.
Para Archery

Recurve and compound events, shot standing or from a wheelchair.
Shooting Para Sport

Rifle and pistol events in SH1 and SH2 classes.
