The 5th Asian Para Games. India recorded its best-ever continental performance at Hangzhou 2022 with 111 medals and will field a large contingent across para athletics, para badminton, para powerlifting, shooting para sport and more. Gujarat athletes named to the Indian squad will be listed here.

Paralympic Games
India's best-ever Paralympics was Paris 2024. The LA28 qualification window makes the 2026–27 season decisive.
15 – 27 August 2028 Los Angeles, United States
The 18th Summer Paralympic Games. Para climbing joins the programme. The qualification window for most sports opens in 2026–27, which makes this season's national and continental results decisive for Gujarat's Paralympic hopefuls.
28 August – 8 September 2024 Paris, France
India's best-ever Paralympics: 29 medals and 18th place on the medal table, up from 19 medals at Tokyo 2020. Gujarat's Bhavanaben Chaudhary represented India in the women's javelin throw F46.
Multi-sport Games
2030 (dates to be announced) · Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
The Centenary Commonwealth Games come to Gujarat. Ahmedabad was confirmed as host by the Commonwealth Sport General Assembly in Glasgow on 26 November 2025, the second Games in India after Delhi 2010. The programme includes para athletics, para swimming, para table tennis, para bowls and para powerlifting, giving Gujarat's para athletes a home Games to aim for.

Para events were integrated into the Commonwealth Games programme, including para athletics, para swimming and para powerlifting. India's para medal winners were felicitated by the Prime Minister on their return, and by Union Minister of State Shri B.L. Verma at a reception attended by the Gujarat Chairman.

Gujarat finished 3rd overall with 30 medals (14 G · 11 S · 5 B) among 28 states and around 1,460 athletes.
