The pathway
From first contact to the Indian contingent
Five steps. The Chapter's job is to make each one as short and as clear as possible.
- Step 1
Discover
Attend a district camp or write to the support desk. We help you find a sport that fits your impairment and interests.
- Step 2
Register
Submit your details, disability certificate / UDID and identity proof to be registered with the Chapter.
- Step 3
Get classified
Receive a provisional or national classification through PCI-recognised classifiers at a camp or championship.
- Step 4
Train
Join a coaching group, district centre or the state programme. We help with equipment, science and welfare where we can.
- Step 5
Compete
State championships lead to Gujarat team selection for nationals, and from there to Indian camps and international events.

Many of Gujarat's best para athletes were first spotted by a teacher, a physiotherapist or a neighbour. Refer them to us.
