Glasgow 2026 para medal winners meet Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi

India's para medal winners from the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, including the para athletics champions, met Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in New Delhi on 10 August 2026. The Prime Minister congratulated the athletes and coaches on their performances and spoke with them about their journeys.

The Paralympic Committee of India described the interaction as a warm and inspiring celebration of the contingent's remarkable achievements. The meeting followed felicitations by the Government of Karnataka and by Union Minister of State Shri B.L. Verma, where Gujarat Chairman Dr. Eluri Sreedhar represented the state.
