Road to Aichi-Nagoya: the 2026 Asian Para Games
The 5th Asian Para Games take place in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan from 18 to 24 October 2026. Here is what Gujarat's athletes and fans should know.
The 2026 Asian Para Games will be held in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, from 18 to 24 October 2026. India, which recorded its best-ever Asian Para Games performance at Hangzhou 2022, will send a large contingent across para athletics, para badminton, para powerlifting, shooting para sport and other disciplines.
The Chapter is working with the Paralympic Committee of India and the Sports Authority of Gujarat to support Gujarat athletes in the national camps and to ensure classification, travel and equipment needs are met well in advance.
We will share the list of Gujarat athletes in the Indian contingent, and their event schedules, once the final squad is announced.
